The short answer: the best RFQ software for a manufacturer or a small buying team is the cheapest plan that both sends RFQs and helps you find the bidders. On published prices, AuraVMS is the lowest at $4.99 per user a month but only invites suppliers you already have, RFQBeast finds suppliers for bills of materials from $83 a month, and Market Dojo sells single e-sourcing events without a long contract. Precoro and Tradogram are strong purchasing tools, but RFQ is not in their entry plans. Suppliers finds and vets the suppliers from a plain English brief and includes RFQ outreach from $99 a month.

We built this comparison by reading the pricing pages, product pages and help centers of 33 RFQ and e-sourcing vendors in September 2026. Only 9 of the 33 publish any price. We rank the tools on what they put in writing: the cheapest plan that includes RFQ, whether the tool finds new suppliers or only invites yours, who it is built for, and the contract terms it states. The full buyer's guide, with the vendor table and the questions to ask before a demo, is on our RFQ software page.

Suppliers, when the hard part is knowing who to ask

Most RFQ tools start at the moment you already know who should quote. Suppliers starts one step earlier. You describe the part, product or packaging job in plain English, with quantity, material, certifications and target cost, and the agent finds candidate manufacturers and suppliers, verifies identity, cross-checks registry and customs data, surfaces certifications and flags risk with the source shown. Then it ranks them against your spec. You send the request for quote to that shortlist and the replies come back into one table with price, minimum order and lead time lined up.

RFQ outreach and the supplier CRM are on every plan. Starter is $99 a month or $594 a year with 2 seats, Growth is $249 a month with 6 seats and turns an awarded quote into a purchase order, and Scale is $599 a month with 20 seats. Plans are month to month with no contract. Vetting reduces risk; it does not replace your own checks on samples and terms, and we are never a party to your order. Best for: founders, operations leads and small procurement teams buying something new.

AuraVMS, the lowest published price

AuraVMS titles its pricing page RFQ software from $5 a month, and the numbers behind it are $4.99 per user a month for the Small Team plan and $7.99 for the Medium Team plan, both billed annually, with an on premise option from $2,999. Unlike most of this list, the base plan includes the RFQ itself: unlimited RFQs with anonymous bidding, side by side quote comparison and one click order placement. Suppliers answer from a private link with no account, which removes the most common reason a supplier ignores a portal invitation. It offers a free trial and a full refund within the first 7 days.

The limit is stated plainly on its own site: you select the suppliers you already work with and send each a link by email or WhatsApp. There is no supplier discovery. Complex bidding and auctions sit in the Enterprise plan. Best for: a small business that already has three or four suppliers per item and wants to stop comparing their quotes in email.

RFQBeast, for bills of materials

RFQBeast is the one tool here built around direct materials. Its pricing, billed annually, runs from a free tier with 2 components and 5 suppliers contacted a month, to Starter at $83 a month (75 components, 150 suppliers contacted), Team at $333 (300 components, 800 suppliers) and Pro at $750 (1,500 components, 5,000 suppliers). All features are on every plan, so the limit is volume, not capability. It states that you can find and contact new suppliers instantly by talking to its AI, with prompts such as finding aluminum suppliers in a region.

The component and supplier counts matter more than the monthly price. A 200 line bill of materials sent to four suppliers each will outgrow Starter in a single round. Best for: a hardware or manufacturing team quoting many components at once.

Market Dojo, formal events without a long contract

Market Dojo is a UK vendor and prices in pounds, excluding taxes. Its e-sourcing licences run GBP 500, 583 and 667 a month billed annually, or GBP 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 month to month, and each tier can also be bought as a single event at the monthly price. The entry tier runs simple RFx and e-auctions; the top tier adds multi stage events, lots and partial bidding. For quick price checks it sells Quick Quotes from GBP 100 per user a month. It connects to Veridion's supplier database for discovery, and a free sandpit lets you try the full e-sourcing flow before paying.

The single event licence is the unusual part. A buyer who runs two large tenders a year pays for two events, not twelve months. Best for: a team that runs a few formal, audited tenders or auctions a year and does not want a multi year platform contract.

Precoro and Tradogram, purchasing tools with RFQ on a higher tier

Both publish clear prices, and both are purchasing and approval systems first. Precoro's Core plan starts at $499 a month billed annually. The vendor collaboration block, with its supplier portal and RFPs, which is how Precoro runs a price quote across several suppliers, appears from the Automation plan at $999 a month billed annually. Its help center describes emailing the request, suppliers answering through a web link, and creating a purchase order from the best bid, and adding suppliers from your own database or typing new ones in. Onboarding takes 4 to 6 weeks by its own estimate, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice.

Tradogram's Essentials plan is $99 a month, or $950.40 a year, with additional user fees. Its compare table marks RFx, RFQ and RFP event management as an add-on on Essentials and included on Premium, which is a custom quote for 20 or more users. It compares bids on price, quality and delivery, and converts an awarded bid into a purchase order. Best for: teams whose daily need is requisitions, approvals and purchase orders, with an occasional quote round. If purchase orders are the main job, our purchase order software page covers that side.

Fairmarkit and Coupa, when the budget is enterprise

Neither publishes a price. Fairmarkit makes the strongest discovery claim of any vendor we read: its AI scans more than 500,000 suppliers globally, invites new ones automatically based on category and performance, and lets you post an event to an open marketplace, with suppliers responding free. Coupa's sourcing product runs RFI, RFQ and RFP events plus English, Dutch and Japanese reverse auctions, and lets buyers browse thousands of pre-rated suppliers. SAP Ariba Sourcing, in the same tier, lists its price upon request per user per year with a contract of 1 to 5 years and auto renewal.

Best for: procurement departments with a category strategy, a contract system to feed and the budget for a platform. For a team of three, the implementation alone is a project.

Tools that come up in the search but do a different job

Procurify is a well regarded purchasing platform, but its own help center says it is not designed to create a quote request and offers a workaround. ProcureDesk ($830 a month for 10 users, billed annually), Spendwise ($9 and $19 per user a month) and ProcurementExpress ($415 to $2,550 a month) publish prices and list no RFQ feature. Paperless Parts and MFGCal's RFQ tracker are seller side: they help a job shop quote the RFQs it receives. If you are that job shop, those are the right tools, and nothing else on this list is.

We also found two prices in search results that the vendors' own pages contradict: a claim that Precoro costs $19 per user a month, and a GEP starter price of $36,000 a year, where GEP publishes no price. Treat any price you read in a roundup, including this one, as something to confirm on the vendor's page.

How to choose in one afternoon

Write down four things before any demo. The cheapest plan that includes RFQ, in writing. Whether the tool finds suppliers or only invites yours. The minimum contract length and any implementation fee. And whether an awarded quote becomes a purchase order without retyping it. Add the twelve month total and compare that, not the first card on the pricing page.

Then run one real request through your top two choices, with the same spec, quantity tiers and delivery terms. Our guide on how to write an RFQ lists what the request should contain so the quotes come back comparable. Once you award, the supplier agreement is the next document, and it is worth keeping it where terms, renewal dates and price clauses can be found later, for example in contract management software that tracks obligations after signature. If the bidder list is the part you do not have yet, start with a brief on Suppliers' RFQ software and send the request to the shortlist it builds.
